A thoroughly improbable conversation on the evening train into Penzance, 20th April

What are the chances of an otherwise unoccupied coach having three groups of political activists all the way through Cornwall? One hyper half-dozen West Penwith residents returning from the Extinction Rebellion funeral-march for the planet in Bath, one batch of youngsters commencing or continuing a night on the razzle discussing the nature of government and the discontent they quite justifiably feel toward Westminster (and possibly the local council), and finally me sat some way back with my laptop, coincidentally reviewing a session with Claude-3 about recruitment possibilities with regard to the upcoming General Election.

Anyway, I ended up giving both groups my phone number and the hello@commonpeople.uk email address. Please, both of you, throw an email my way. I can think of nobody more reasonable to influence the politics being worked out here, and while none of us will win a seat this year we can definitely express our views together.
